In order to comply with the Orders of the Governor and the Johnson County Public Health Officer to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and for the safety and well-being of those involved, this meeting will be conducted using an online virtual meeting tool. Members of the Planning Commission will not be present but will participate remotely using the virtual meeting tool.

 

 

The meeting will be open to the public via the online virtual meeting tool by viewing online or listening by phone.  Instructions for using the online virtual meeting tool are below.  The meeting may also be viewed at opkansas.civicweb.net by selecting “Watch Live.”

 

 

No public hearings will be held on April 13; and all public hearings that were scheduled for or continued to April 13 will be continued to the Planning Commission’s meeting schedule for 1:30 p.m. on Monday May 11, 2020, except item 8, which staff requests be continued to the Planning Commission’s meeting schedule for 1:30 p.m. on Monday July 13, 2020. At this time, the May 11 meeting is scheduled to be conducted in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 8500 Santa Fe Drive. However, in the event public health and emergency issues related to COVID-19 continue, the May 11 meeting might be conducted virtually. In such event, notice of the intent to conduct this meeting virtually will be provided as early as practicable.
